Tempeh with grilled pak choi

Oriental flavours go really well with tempeh, even a simple drizzle of tamari or soy sauce is the perfect flavouring. Try out this grilled tempeh and pak choi dish, it is BBQ season after all so everything needs to be grilled!


  • 200g tempeh, sliced lengthways
  • Basmati rice
  • Fresh beetroot
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • Pak choi
  • Lime juice and sweet chilli sauce

1) Heat up your griddle and place the tempeh slices on and leave to grill for a few minutes each side

2) Take them off the grill and put on a plate and add a little tamari or soy sauce and let them soak, keep turning in the sauce

3) Whilst the griddle is hot add the pak choi to the pan and sear for a few minutes

4) Get your rice cooking and slice your beetroot

5) Serve with a slice of lime and some fresh avocado and a dash of sweet chilli sauce
