High protein tempeh smoothie

We have all heard of the benefits of protein both pre and post workout and how a high protein breakfast can have a positive effect on weight loss and reduced cravings throughout the day so why not try adding some of our delicious organic tempeh to your next smoothie for a quick and easy yet nutritionally dense breakfast.

Recipe:

  • 20-50g Tempeh

  • 1 Banana

  • Ice cubes

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 tsp agave syrup

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter (or other nut butter)

  • 1/2 cup of soy milk

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for a few minutes till nice and smooth

  2. Have a little taste and add more milk or water for a thinner consistency or more agave syrup for a sweeter smoothie

  3. finish with some chia seeds, coconut and blueberries
