Impulse organic tempeh
mayonnaise and/or mustard and/or ketchup and/or pickle…. Your choice!
Fluffy puffy bread (go on, even though it’s naughty!)
Slice the tempeh into thinnish strips, sprinkle with salt, and fry in olive oil in a pan until dark brown and crispy on both sides. In the meantime….
Stack the lettuce and sliced tomato into the bread , which has been generously spread on both interior surfaces with mayo. Top with crispy fried tempeh and whatever else takes your fancy. Eat hot!
